Being offered for sale is a registered appaloosa Corporate Diamond.

The owner of Diamond is my mother. She's staying with me because I needed a companion horse for my appy mare, I wanted to work with her, and she didn't get along with my mother's old mare. Diamond has been with me since December. Frankly, I would like to keep her, but she isn't mine and I can't afford another horse (I just sold my 2nd mare), hence why Diamond arrived.

My mother purchased Diamond in April of 2005. At that time, she had not been ridden in 4 years. Mom just hopped on her and off they went. Since she's been with me, I have ridden her several times and have at least exposed her to showing.

She has the 5 way and West Nile Vaccine. She's also been tested for Lymes last November (the results were negative). She's great with the farrier and vet. She has been tested for Coggins and her teeth were floated this spring.

She's had two foals -- one solid chestnut and one with blanket. Both had full tails. She's also been DNA'd.

At this point, my mother is asking $2000 for her. As I put more work into her, the price will go up. If she does as well as I hope, the price will go up after her first full show. You could snatch up this pretty gal now. I know I'm biased towards leopard apps, but man...I think she's beautiful. I wish I had the extra money. I adore having her here.

Mom has decided that Diamond is too big for her. She's about 15.2. In this picture you can see Diamond's size. My squirt of a mare in the background is 14.2.

I'm accustomed to riding little mares, but Diamond is a blast to ride.

I have ridden her on my property and I'll be showing her at NE Wisconsin shows. If I have enough time, we'll be entering NEWPHA sanctioned shows (Halter and Western Pleasure). Her refresher course consists of Natural Horsemanship training and gentle patience.

Please take a look at the videos. Be patient - they take awhile to load and they're a little jumpy as I was alone and was taunting the gals to get the trot and canter.

If you would like to ask questions or see Diamond, please email me at jbrogley@hughes.net. I'll forward the emails onto my mother as well so you can talk to her as well.
